Most visitors decide in seconds whether to stay.

I design the pages that turn them into leads.Conversion design for B2B websites, for agencies and the companies they build for.

The first few seconds

Visitors don’t read. They scan, and they decide.

A new visitor lands on your homepage and looks for two things. If they don’t find them quickly, they leave.

  1. What do you do, and is it for me?

The value proposition is vague, generic or buried. Visitors can’t tell what you offer or whether it fits their problem.

  2. What do I do next?

Too many options, or none that feel safe. The next step is unclear, so visitors postpone it, and most never come back.

Both problems are fixable, mostly on a handful of pages: the homepage, landing pages and key entry pages.

A first screen, before and after.

Example: Havenrow Logistics, a fictional B2B software company. Same company, same page, two versions.

Before: headline “Innovative solutions for your business”, three equal buttons and a large stock image.
  1. Could be any company. It doesn’t say what they sell or who it’s for.
  2. Three equal buttons. With no obvious next step, visitors pick none.
  3. A stock image takes half the screen and explains nothing.
After: headline “Pallet tracking for 3PL warehouses: see every pallet, live”, one primary button and a proof line.
  1. What it is and who it’s for, in one line.
  2. One clear next step.
  3. Proof right under the button lowers the risk of clicking.

For agencies

A conversion specialist alongside your team.

For companies

Your website gets traffic, but too few enquiries.

I find where visitors drop off on the first screen and redesign the pages that matter most. Your developer or agency builds them.

Ask for a first-screen review

Approach

Three steps

  1. Review

I go through the first screen and key entry pages the way a new visitor sees them.

  2. Prioritise

I list what’s costing you enquiries, ranked by impact.

  3. Redesign

I design the pages, ready for your agency or dev team to build.

Questions

Do you work white-label for agencies?
Yes. I can work under your name, sign an NDA, and stay out of client communication if you prefer.
Do you also build the site?
No. I handle design and conversion. The build stays with your agency or development team, and I deliver designs they can work from directly.
What do you need from us?
Your website URL, who your buyers are, and what counts as a lead for you. Access to analytics helps but isn’t required.
How long does a review take?
Usually between 2 days and 2 weeks, depending on the number of pages.

Let’s look at your first screen.
